    What veggies to plant at this point in the summer?

    Hi! I'm in New England, and about to plant my very first garden--though I've taken care of plants before.

    What are good things to plant now and harvest soon? I'm on a tight budget, so I'm looking for veggie plants that bear LOTS of food (like zucchini).

    Tips on how to keep the plants alive and how long before they bear food would be much appreciated ^_^
